It’s raining again. And you know what happens when it rains, right? Yes, I’m there again.

I don’t know if I can really blame the rain about how I am feeling now though. Maybe after a stressful week (or month?), I am now experiencing  the effects of all the changes and challenges I encountered. I am not complaining, don’t get me wrong. I think I need this-a time to disengage and look at things from a different perspective, finally ask questions I was afraid to ask myself…

And I still don’t have the answers.

Is this really what happens when you’re getting a year older again? Am I normal? Haha :-) It’s my birthday on the 19th. Don’t expect a treat, but I’ll expect you to greet. ;)

Last Friday I, with sillyserious and two college friends Donna and TJ, flew to Dumaguete to witness the wedding of Pam (a close friend from college, and roommate for a sem) and Budi. We went there a day early so we’ll have some time to roam around and see the city.

We had a fun-filled FOOD Trip! :D I never thought gourmet food could be sold cheap. Pastries, cakes, coffee, international cuisine, for the price of Fastfood! Too bad we’re not able to bring pasalubong. :( We got used to Manila life, thinking all shops are open on Sundays. Sigh.

The trip was also a good bonding moment. We were able to catch up on each other’s lives. Especially on TJ and Donna’s love story. ;-) It’s amazing how easy it has been to be comfy and open to people you haven’t seen for months (or has it been years?).

I don’t have pictures from the trip yet. But soon, when we get the files from Donks and Teej, I’ll post some. :) This is the downside of not bringing a digicam during trips. You have to wait some time before you get a hold of the pics. I think the advantage gave more weight to me: I get to be in most, if not all, of the pics! Hahaha :)

Thinking about Dumaguete got my mind off the senti. I guess I really should not put the blame on the rain, huh? ;)
